         PLEASE DO NOT deliver donations to shelter sites.

 

Monetary donations are the best way to help. 

  • United Way of Northern California.  Provides direct financial assistance to evacuees and fire survivors.

Food and Drink Donations

  • The Siskiyou Food Bank is accepting sealed food and drink donations.

    • To arrange donation drop offs, contact Laura Leech

      • 530-340-6382.

 

FIND PEOPLE:

  • Unaccounted Persons line:

    • 530-842-8741.

      •  8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

        • Try known contacts and check shelters.  If the person is still unaccounted for, please call. ​​
          • Be prepared to provide name, date of birth, address and last known location of the person.

What to bring with you when you evacuate (time permitting):

  1. Identification

  2. Medications/prescriptions

  3. Important documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, insurance policies etc.)

  4. Emergency supplies including food and water for a minimum of three days

  5. Clothes and toiletries

  6. Pets and pet supplies

American Red Cross

  • Go to a Red Cross evacuation shelter or call 800-733-2767 (800-REDCROSS).

 

Financial Assistance

  • United Way of Northern California - Gift Card 

  • Unite​d Way of Northern California - RV Assistance Program 

    • Provides partial RV rental assistance to McKinney wildfire survivors, up to 6 months. Must provide your own RV or trailer.
